Student Poem of the Month — October 2007

Seasons of the Birds   © by   Chelsea Daniels

Old crow sitting up high in a tree.
Snow flakes falling round the chickadee.
Caw! Caw! Caw!

Old crow perched on a chopping block.
Robins gliding down in a flock.
Caw! Caw! Caw!

Old crow hiding in a thick green cedar.
Hummers sipping nectar from a bright red feeder.
Caw! Caw! Caw!

Bright leaves falling in the old crows nest.
Little wren sings “it’s time to rest.”
Caw! Caw! Caw!
