Student Poem of the Month — November 2006

Living Moon   © by   Annalee Kwochka

The way the moon
Rose
Fell
In blankets of night
Calling and falling
Whispered across the world
Billowing it into sails of life
This autumn evening
The moon murmured
Nudging the mountains of Appalachia
The peacock of green
Into vivacious life
This autumn evening
