Student Poem of the Month — April 2004

Mom's Butterflies   © by   Blake Sowers

My mom has butterflies in her flower garden
They come in all shapes and sizes
The colors are green, yellow, and orange
and full of many surprises
They fly all around
They fly up and down
Into the big blue sky
They land on flowers and sit for hours
And nobody knows quite why
