I cannot put a label on you
your achievements have done just that
If you were to come back
this world would probably change, for the better

Hardly do we ever think about how precious everything we have is
We take for granted that we can sit and chat, walk and laugh, all
       together on common grounds
The sounds of the children playing together, they have no color

The almost perfect world that you dreamed may never have come about
had it not been for the bites you received
ones that tore deep into the mind and penetrated the soul,
Along with the sores on your feet from all the walking you did
to make this world a better place
You and so many others
Others that have faces and no names in history,
drenched with stories that may never be told to offspring

And I cannot imagine what more you could have achieved
Had more thoughts, words, and actions only been given a chance to be
       penned, spoken,
and received, by the masses
And with the light of the world reflecting from your eyes
I realize that the good do die young
But you will always be a hero to me, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
