While I'm Gone   ©

by   Kristin Dangerfield

"While I'm gone I want you to
Vacuum the hallway if you would,
Please dust the den and,
Read, you really should,

Clean your room good,
Scrub that spot off the chair,
Set the dinner table,
Shampoo your hair,

Clean the windows,
Wash the dishes,
Clean the cat box,
Feed the fishes,

Wipe the counters,
Organize the books,
Give the dog a bath,
Don't give me dirty looks!

Oh and don't forget to
Get your homework done,
Fold the laundry and..."
"Mom, can we have some fun?"
