A Different World ©
by
Alana Smith

If the grass could be blue,
The sun could be green.
The sky could be yellow--
The brightest ever seen.

Orange water everywhere,
Just like juice to drink.
Purple leaves on all the trees;
Lightening could be pink.

If you planted a one dollar bill,
A money tree would grow.
One thousand silver dollars,
Hanging in a row.

And people would have wings to fly--
No need for cars or boats.
And when the silver snow would fall,
No need for winter coats.

So that concludes my story,
Of how a different world would be.
And if you look through my eyes,
Something different you shall see.
