Student Poem of the Month — July 2008
A Skater Speaks © by Logan Elmore
I am a skater riding on the road, The wind running up on my face, Doing tricks on the pavement, Falling off my skateboard, Jumping cars and ramps, Grinding poles and rails, Jumping over the stars, Like a wild monkey Running loose in the open.
