in that place of no breaking
the bones bend
the stopwatches go
on going (ongoing)
of the pace
in time (this place in time)
of the hummingbird’s
heartbeat
where I
am all (for one)
and one (for all
they know—
not she not he
defenseless in a car derailed
where everyone bleeds
indiscreetly)
this could be
a sea
this could and I
could be the shed old shell
the sea her palette
blue on blue
in blue in blue
lugs me into
this blue this once
and for (a willow bending bending)
ever
more
