[after e.e. cummings]

wake
(when you come to it
as you can)
every breath unsure
of next
breath praying new
and laughing god looks with through
each every sparkling you
made known

in darkness grab any moon you find
egg moon milk moon flower hay grain moon
blue harvest wolf moon

unsure of next
whatever you call moon
sit inside unfathomable moon
polish every breath before
it always disappears
moon
